Troubleshooting your Alpha deviceUpdated 22 days ago
Battery Level:
Alpha 2 includes a Battery Level Indicator, which is displayed via a green, yellow and red LED.
- Green - Fully charged. Battery voltage is higher than 3.75V.
- Yellow - Almost time to charge. Battery voltage is around 3.6V-3.75V.
- Red - Low battery. Battery voltage is lower than 3.6V. Time to charge your battery.
Low Voltage Warning:
- The red LED will blink when the battery capacity is lower than 3.3V, and the Alpha 2 battery will automatically power off.
Short Circuit/Atomizer Protection:
- Short Circuit/Atomizer Protection protects the Alpha 2 against shorted atomizers and will stop the unit from functioning in unsafe conditions.
- Alpha 2 features automatic real-time atomizer Ohm detection. If the resistance of the atomizer is lower than 1. 2 Ohm, the LED will stay on for 5 seconds, and the device will not turn on.
Over-Discharge Protection:
- Alpha 2 monitors the battery voltage and will automatically power off when the battery is discharged.
15-second cutoff:
- If the button is held for 15 seconds or longer, the LED lights will flash and then stop firing until the button is released and pressed again.
Overheat Protection:
- The red LED will blink 3 times if the PCB is overheated.
