Age Verification ProcessUpdated 2 hours ago

We’re rolling out a new age verification process from 29 April 2026. This update helps us meet regulatory requirements and ensures that only customers aged 18 or over can place orders, keeping our community safe and compliant.

As part of this, there will be a small change to how you place orders. To continue shopping with us, you’ll need to complete a quick age verification process.

It’s a simple 3-step process:

  1. You’ll be asked to provide a valid form of ID

    1. NZ Driver Licence

    2. NZ Passport

    3. NZ Birth Certificate

  2. A quick form check will confirm you’re over 18

  3. Once completed, you’re good to go for future purchases.

What to expect:

  • If you’re checking out as a guest, you’ll be prompted to complete the age verification process before each order

  • If you’re logged in, you’ll only need to do this once.

How to verify your ID:

There are two ways to verify your ID:

1. Via your account:

  • Click 'Verify my age'.

2. At checkout:

  • Add items to your cart.
  • Click 'Verify & checkout':

  • You'll be taken to our secure form to complete your verification. Note, you will be asked to review your details again before submitting:

  • Once verified, your account will remain verified. Please remember to log in before each order to avoid delays.
  • Note: If you wish to check out as a guest, you may complete your purchase without signing in or creating an account, but your verification will be remembered for that session only.

The process is secure and designed to be as quick and seamless as possible.

However, if you need any help to complete the age verification process, please contact our customer service team here.

We only retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfil these requirements.

To reflect this service update, we’ve updated our Privacy Policy in line with the Privacy Act 2020. It outlines what information we collect, how we use it, and when it may be shared. The updated policy will apply from 29 April 2026, and you can read it here.
